Fees and Charges FAQS
For use with customers querying the changes to Guernsey Home Loans and Jersey Home Loans mortgage fees and charges. These answers are not scripts but a guide to answers that can be provided.
Our updated fees and charges tariff is effective from the 31 March 2022.
All customers were pre notified of the changes in January 2022 as part of the annual statement communication giving advance notice of the changes to customers.
We have carried out a comprehensive review of the work we do in regard to each request, and therefore the costs that we incur to complete the activity. The fees we charge have a direct relationship to business and third party costs and the new charges reflect this cost.

Fees are applicable as at the date any application is made, so any fee paid at that time was correct.
